The Young Musicians Choral Orchestra’s

Graduating Senior Recital,

May 21 at 3P

YMCO is a nationally recognized East Bay Youth program for low-income, underprivileged students, which provides a robust combination of musical training, academic reinforcement, and personal development. The no-cost program serves 70 students through an educational foundation in orchestral, jazz, vocal, and choral music. Students from the program matriculate into and excel at premiere conservatories and universities.

Sunday’s program graduating seniors will perform solo vocal and instrumental ensemble performances, as well as big band jazz works. Jim Meredith, LMUMC’s Music Director, is Director of Vocal Studies for this program and many of his students have sung and performed for our church services.

Come and enjoy this free concert!
