Roofing Closure
Aug 26 – Sept 3
Lake Merritt United Methodist Church continues major roof repairs through September 3. Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this time.
Roof repair will impact our regular Sunday Services.
We will not meet at 10:15AM, but will meet at 5:30PM.
This Sunday, September 3rd will be a “Taizé Service” with a sandwich and salad supper.
In Worship, children’s activities will be provided.
The church office will be closed. Our Office Administrator, Pastor Sunae, and Rev. Tremper will be working remotely. Please email or call them for any guidance.
We will return to the office on Tuesday, September 4, after the Labor Day Holiday.
Ministry team leaders will need to coordinate access via the Lakeshore entrance.

Pride Sunday, Sept 10
Next Sunday is Pride Sunday. Rev. Israel Alvaran from Reconciling Ministries Network is our guest preacher and Pastor Dale will be leading worship.
Pastor Sunae will be joining our church’s Reconciling ministry team leaders to participate in the Oakland Pride event. Our church will have our own exhibit and march the parade to support and stand in solidarity with our LGBTQI+ siblings! We will celebrate loudly and proudly in-community. Join us.
