Today we gather as Pentecost people, held in God’s love that meets us in both our brokenness and our longing for wholeness. Bishop Connie Mitchell Shelton reminds us that salvation is not only about life after death but God’s healing here and now—a restoration of our hearts, minds, and communities through Christ’s love. In humility, we seek the mind of Christ, who emptied himself for the sake of others, and we open ourselves to the Spirit’s renewing work. Together, we lean into the truth that love heals, love transforms, and love brings joy out of sorrow. Join us.
