Pastor Sunae at the Gathering of the Spiritual Leaders

Monday, February 02 to Thursday, February 05

Pastor Sunae will be away attending the Gathering of the Spiritual Leaders from February 2 through February 5 at Asilomar Conference Grounds. This gathering is convened by the Bishop Sandy Olewine of the California-Nevada Annual Conference for all ordained and appointed clergy. Deacon Ken, Deacon Stephanie, Rev. Renee, Rev. Myrna, and Rev. Richard are attending the Bishop’s gathering as well.

During this time, Pastor Sunae will remain available by email; however, please allow up to 24 hours for a response. For any urgent or emergency matters, please text Pastor Sunae directly.

Reset Values

So many voices tell us who we should be and what we should do. This Sunday we continue our Reset series with Reset Values, grounded in Paul’s words to the Galatians: “If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.” Together we will explore how the Holy Spirit reshapes our priorities—moving us from self-justifying expectations to Spirit-led lives marked by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Join us as we press the reset button and listen for the Spirit’s guidance for how we live, choose, and love.

Since the United Nations approval of President Trump’s controversial 20-point peace plan for Gaza, Palestinians have continued to be killed there, and the West Bank experiences a slow, silent takeover of land. Although the administration has publicly criticized Israel for plans to annex Palestinian land in the West Bank, de facto annexation takes place on a daily basis.

This event will provide an opportunity to hear about Palestinian reality on the ground and ways we can engage in faithful actions for an equitable peace in the Middle East.

Reset Purpose

Have you ever felt like life is stuck on repeat—busy, full, and yet strangely empty? On this Sunday, we gather around Jesus’ practice of stepping away to pray and reset his purpose. In Mark 1:32–39, Jesus withdraws from the crowds, not out of avoidance, but to reconnect with God and realign with why he was sent. This is a Sunday for anyone who feels spiritually weary, distracted, or disconnected. Come as you are. Come to rest. Come to pray. Come to reset your purpose in Christ.
